is it possible they are simply not aware of how they should be parking. But I guess that raises the question, are they paying?

I’m pretty sure they are paying for one spot, and just don’t realize how the spacing between the meters is layed out.

It would probably help if there were lines or at least a mark on the curb to show how they spaced.

Come on now.... trikes are hard. Plus, as they haven’t taken the time to learn to ride a motorcycle, it isn’t surprising they can’t learn to back in properly.
